It is actually the number 29 bus that takes you to La Boca. Also remember you cannot buy a bus ticket on the bus and have to purchase a pass elsewhere. You can get them at any underground station.
BA is magnificent and very easy to access via public transport. I would recommend a train trip out to Tigre (40 minutes), a stroll around the park to the Japanese Gardens and a visit to the park dedicated to the atrocities committed during the 1970’s and 1980’s. The 45 bus from The Obelisk in the direction of the city airport ( Jorge Newbury) will take you straight there. It’s also quite near the Estadio Monumental where Argentina won the World Cup in 1978.
