About Look With New Eyes

Look With New Eye focuses on highlighting the sights and outdoor experiences that make the Lake District and Cumbria truly unique.

At the heart of my work is telling stories that emotionally connect with my readers. I love capturing the small details and moments throughout the seasons in my writing and photography alongside providing the practical tips my readers need to make their next trip a reality.

My focus is primarily on visiting local attractions, food and drink, walking (from easy strolls to day hikes) and exploring the Lake District and Cumbria by public transport.

I have always had a love for writing and documenting.

From my early years of writing letters to friends to keeping travel journals as I travelled the world in my 20s to growing an audience around my experiences in the Lake District, I love how words can connect and inspire.

I can help bring your business or brand to life through well researched, professional copywriting.

Feedback from Abigail Brooks, Creative Director at The Bath House

We started working with Rebecca because we were looking for an interesting content writer based around Cumbria and we felt she was a great fit as she reflected the quality of lifestyle and well being that was similar to our ethos as a brand.

We have gone on to use her pieces for our journal section on our website, developing her writing into a regular feature that our customers can look forward to associating with.

Working with Rebecca has been fascinating as she often brings new ideas and places she’s visited to our readers and brings these places to life with her creative writing style and photography.

I would definitely recommend working with Rebecca as she is always efficient with deadlines, happy to listen and be flexible and most importantly brings her personality to her writing which our readers have found engaging, giving them an insight into the daily life of living amongst the Lake District fells.
